Material Safety Compliance Program Starline's products meet all applicable federal safety and warning requirements as enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Federal Communications Commission. These products are noted in this catalog as FDA Compliant Materials. Starline also tests cooler bag and picnic beverage storage area material for lead content. Starline applies the standard of LT 200ppm (.02%) for internal cooler bag material (generally PVC) since no specific FDA standard exists. Starline randomly tests food and beverage contact materials for FDA Compliance. In addition to the random compliance testing that is conducted throughout the year prior to shipment, each unique food and beverage contact material is tested annually from our domestic stock. Our testing facility is recognized worldwide and has 26,000 collaborators in 700 laboratories across 140 countries. Social Compliance Program Starline’s social compliance program is designed to ensure that our products are produced in conditions that respect human rights principles as reflected by the International Labour Organization and United Nations. We take the protection of human rights very seriously, and we expect our vendors to share these ethical standards. We visit and evaluate vendors of record annually to ensure compliance. The factory shall treat all workers with respect, dignity and fairness. The factory shall operate in such a way that minimizes the impact of its processes on the environment. The factory management shall be committed to put in place an effective system to ensure it conducts business in a socially responsible manner.  California Proposition 65 Starline's products meet all applicable federal safety and warning requirements as enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Federal Communications Commission. Starline's products that are shipped to California are also subject to Proposition 65, otherwise known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. Proposition 65 requires consumer product warnings for products shipped to California that contain chemicals known to the state of California to include carcinogens or reproductive toxins unless such chemicals are present below established Safe Harbor Levels or are shown to be present in unharmful concentrations. It is therefore the responsibility of all distributors to notify Starline in writing in their purchase orders if the product it is purchasing will be distributed, either directly or indirectly, in the State of California. If any distributor or end customer knowingly or unknowingly distributes a Starline product into the State of California and does not inform Starline in writing, in advance, prior to production of the order, the distributor/end customer by placing an order agrees to hold Starline harmless for all liability for alleged Proposition 65 violations (Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations). It is the distributor’s/end user’s responsibility to notify Starline in advance of shipments to California or eventual indirect shipments to California. This warning label will help ensure compliance with California Proposition 65 regulatory requirements. Starline will apply the following label to your product for an added cost of $.08 (G).
